There are two different approaches for design of those pictures. The first is a long work on space fillers as an artist
and then just draw what you see (That is a rare gift!). The second is more
mathematical: some VBA-programming in Excel helped in construction of the pictures.
One problem was cutting the pictures into repetitious rectangles.
The smallest unit cell of "Birds" is rhomboid.
Hen's and Geese are not the real stuff, because they still got background.
Animation is fun, so here is a Geneva-Movement
